Preliminary BiH election results: Minić, Cvijanović, Filipović and Bećirović lead

According to CEC BiH preliminary results, Savo Minić (SNSD) leads the race for Republika Srpska president, and he was congratulated by SDS leader Branko Blanuša and Safe Srpska Movement leader Draško Stanivuković, who said his party would stay in opposition and pointed to low turnout. Minić and Željka Cvijanović thanked voters and pledged to defend Republika Srpska's interests. Darijana Filipović of HDZ BiH was elected Croat member of the Presidency with 109,168 votes, or 46.56 per cent, ahead of Slaven Kovačević and Zdenko Lučić, returning HDZ BiH to the Presidency after eight years. Archbishop of Vrhbosna Tomo Vukšić also congratulated her. For the Bosniak seat, with 95.52 per cent of polling stations processed, Denis Bećirović leads with 26.78 per cent, ahead of Bakir Izetbegović on 23.89 and Semir Efendić on 17.98 per cent.

Bijeljina mayor expelled from SDS, party members demand reversal

The SDS announced that Bijeljina mayor Ljubiša Petrović has been expelled for breaching the party statute.
