What we keep, why, for how long, and how to delete it.

If you only read the site

There is no registration, no account and no advertising cookies. We do not follow you across other sites and we sell no data. We do not ask for your device's location.

The only things left in your browser are your theme choice, light or dark, and the page cache that lets the site work offline. Both stay with you and are not sent to us.

We count visits through two services, Vercel Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Neither uses cookies, neither leaves an identifier in your browser, and neither records anything about what you as an individual looked at, only how many times each page was opened. The server the site runs on keeps ordinary technical access logs, including IP address, used only to operate and secure the site.

If you use the alert bot

The Telegram bot works by remembering who it sends to and what they care about. That is the only personal data this project keeps, and here is exactly what it is:

your Telegram conversation id, so we know where to send
the language you want messages in
the categories you follow
the municipalities you follow
the severity threshold you want to be alerted from
the time until which you have muted alerts
whether you are subscribed or unsubscribed, and when you first wrote

We do not keep your name, phone number, Telegram username, or the content of messages you send us. We do not know who you are.

The basis for processing is your own request: the bot remembers nothing until you write to it, and remembers only what you told it. With each alert sent we record which event it was and when, so that the same thing is not sent to you twice.

How to be forgotten

The /reset command clears all your settings, and /stop unsubscribes you and the bot stops sending immediately. After /stop your record still exists, in an inactive state, because the log of what was already sent to you is kept against it.

For full deletion, including that record and the history of alerts sent, write to the contact address with your conversation id, which /pratim shows you. We delete within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

Who else sees it

Bot messages travel through Telegram and are subject to their terms. The site is served by Vercel. Visits are counted by Vercel and by Cloudflare, whose counter loads in your browser. Summaries are written by a language model through Anthropic, and only media text is sent there, never anything about readers or bot users. We sell nobody's data and pass it to no third party for marketing.

For how long

Bot settings are kept until you delete them. The record of alerts sent is kept as long as the event itself. Technical access logs are kept briefly, for as long as their purpose lasts.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask for correction, deletion, and an end to processing. A message to the contact address is enough. We do not ask for documents to do something you can already do yourself through the bot.
