Parliamentary election candidate speaks in Leskovac and Prokuplje about infrastructure and announced worker layoffs

Narodna stranka leader and "Alternativa za Srbiju" candidate Vladimir Gajić said in Leskovac and Prokuplje, ahead of the 25 October parliamentary elections, that residents are concerned about announced layoffs at foreign-owned factories and that water and sewage infrastructure needs urgent investment. He also said the state should subsidise domestic farmers and small businesses, and mentioned the importance of the main road toward Prokuplje and Kuršumlija.

Three parties announce new assembly majority in Sarajevo Canton, question of electing assembly leadership remains open

The SDA, SBiH and DF parties have announced plans to form a new assembly majority and government in Sarajevo Canton, citing support from 18 of 35 deputies, while a constitutional law expert warns that forming the assembly leadership without Croat and other representatives could be challenged before the Federation's Constitutional Court, citing a precedent from Una-Sana Canton.
