Four REM Council members write to international officials about REM's handling of TV Informer case
Four members of the Serbian broadcasting regulator's council (REM) informed EU and international diplomatic officials that the council failed to rule within the legal 72-hour deadline on two complaints against TV Informer filed on October 6, after no proposal received the required five votes at the October 9 session. The signatories said Informer remains outside systematic election-campaign monitoring and asked international officials to factor this into their assessment of fair election conditions.
