Overview of fires, a landslide and air pollution in the Federation of BiH for 11-12 October

The Federal Civil Protection Administration reported several firefighting interventions across the Herzegovina-Neretva and Tuzla cantons and Sarajevo Canton, including a roof fire in Mostar, a fire at an abandoned hotel in Čapljina, a chimney fire in Jablanica and a car fire in Tuzla, plus a landslide in Tuzla's Kužići/Miladije area that damaged a house, and moderately polluted air at Tuzla monitoring stations.

Young man dies of electric shock at a single-occupancy hotel in Rakovica

The body of a 19-year-old was found at a single-occupancy hotel in Belgrade's Rakovica district, with unofficial reports suggesting he died of electric shock after spilling a bucket of water onto a live electric heater. Police carried out an on-site investigation and the body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine to determine the cause of death.

Deliberately set fire burns three cars in Rakovica, Belgrade

Three parked cars burned overnight in Belgrade's Rakovica neighbourhood after a young man, seen on security camera footage, allegedly set one alight with a torch, with the fire spreading to two nearby vehicles; no one was injured and police are searching for a suspect.
