Doboj police report conducting searches at eight locations in the city of Doboj and the Doboj Jug municipality in the Federation of BiH, under a District Court order, involving four persons, with support from several police units and the discovery of a substance resembling narcotics.

Trial begins for killing of Danka Ilic before Higher Court in Negotin

The trial of Dejan Dragijevic and Srdjan Jankovic, indicted for the aggravated murder of two-year-old Danka Ilic, is due to begin on 30 October before the Higher Court in Negotin, after the indictment by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar became final. The court rejected media requests for a copy of the indictment, citing risk to the upcoming proceedings, and the girl's body has still not been found.

USKOK releases detainees held in investigation into waste dumping near Senj

USKOK expanded its investigation into illegal waste dumping at a municipal landfill near Senj, inside Velebit Nature Park, arresting several people previously treated as witnesses before stating it would not seek pre-trial detention, after which they were released home. According to USKOK's statement, the probe covers 14 suspects and four legal entities over environmental crimes, document forgery and alleged organised criminal activity linked to Varaždin, Gospić, Senj, Sveti Juraj, Benkovac, Sisak, Zagreb and a waste supplier from Slovenia.

Suspect arrested over attempted murder after traffic dispute in Zemun

Police, acting on an order from the Belgrade Higher Public Prosecutor's Office, arrested Jovan M. (21), suspected of stabbing N.P. in the chest during a traffic dispute in Zemun on October 10, attempting to kill him. Prosecutors said he is charged with attempted murder and has been detained for up to 48 hours pending questioning.

Young man arrested in Zrenjanin on suspicion of attacking ten people, mostly police officers

Police in Zrenjanin arrested a 20-year-old man, identified as M. J., on suspicion of injuring ten people in a series of incidents, including seven police officers during a chase. Police say he is suspected of lightly wounding a young man with a knife, assaulting an elderly man near Lazarevo, and injuring another young man at a shopping mall before damaging several vehicles during the pursuit.

Police check in Slavonski Brod: foreign nationals banned from entering Croatia over provision of sexual services

Police in Slavonski Brod checked two Brazilian and two Colombian nationals over their short-term stay in Croatia and found they had been providing paid sexual services without a residence permit, after which all four received misdemeanour citations, orders cancelling their stay, and a three-month entry ban, while the two Colombians, who hold Portuguese residence permits, were also advised to go to Portugal.

Indictment filed against two men over an attack on Vlašić near Travnik

Prosecutors in Central Bosnia Canton have indicted two men, E. T. and R. T., on suspicion of beating a man, A. Z., on Vlašić near Travnik on 16 May 2025, causing him serious injuries, after a dispute reportedly began over a sheepdog; the indictment was confirmed by the Travnik Municipal Court.

Tepić announces financial probes into officials' assets and a fund to recover looted money

Marinika Tepić, one of the leaders of the 'European Serbia' electoral list, said the list would push for systematic financial investigations into the assets of officials, party figures and businesspeople suspected of illicit enrichment. She said any illegally acquired assets would go into a 'Fund for the Return of Looted Money' meant to compensate victims and fund healthcare, education and infrastructure.
