Diesel prices at petrol stations in Banja Luka have dropped by up to 26 fenings per litre, with industry sources expecting further declines, while a similar price drop is reported in the Federation of BiH; separately, a new minimum taxi fare of 7 KM has taken effect in Banja Luka since October 6.

Dairy farmer associations seek urgent protection measures for domestic milk production in BiH

Four dairy farmer associations representing nearly 70 percent of BiH's raw milk production asked institutions in late September to urgently protect domestic output and curb imports, warning that farms are closing and processors plan further price cuts; associations report over 30 farms in Republika Srpska have stopped production and two large farms in Zivinice have closed, while the Federation farmers' association also cites a prolonged drought worsening conditions.
